Opening an HFM account involves four steps: account registration, profile entry, identity verification, and opening a trading account. The registration process takes about 5 minutes, and identity verification must be completed before you can make a withdrawal.

Documents Required to Open an HFM Account and Identity Verification
For HFM identity verification, you must submit two types of documents: a form of identification and proof of address. The standard procedure is to take photos of the documents with your camera on the spot, and then take a selfie.

The document must be valid and must be an official document with a photo. The address on the document must match your current address; employee ID cards and student ID cards are not accepted.
Documents Accepted for Address Verification During HFM Identity Verification
If you are submitting documents by taking a photo with a camera, you may use utility bills (electricity, gas, water) issued within the last 6 months; bills for internet, cable TV, or landline phone service; a certificate of residence; cell phone bills; credit card statements; bank account statements; or tax payment certificates. If you are submitting documents via upload, internet or cable TV bills are not accepted, and tax payment certificates for automobile tax are not accepted. Health insurance cards, receipts, and insurance statements are not accepted.
Statements issued online will be accepted if they are in the form of a downloadable PDF that includes the issuer, name, current address, and date of issuance. Photographs or screenshots of the screen will not be accepted.

If you do not verify your identity within 90 days of registration, your account will be disabled.
How to Open an HFM Account (Steps for New Registration)
STEP 1: Create an HFM Account
Open the HFM registration page and enter your country of residence, email address (or phone number), and password. You can also sign up using your Google or Apple account. Enter the verification code sent to your email to create your account.
How to Register with HFM: Fields for Entering the Referrer ID and Campaign ID (Partner Code)
The registration form includes a field labeled “Referrer ID or Campaign ID (optional).” If you’re using a referral code (partner code), enter 364527 in this field. Even if you accessed the page via the registration link above, be sure to check this field before clicking “Continue.”
STEP 2: Enter Your Profile
Enter your name (in English), phone number, date of birth, and the base currency for your HF Wallet (JPY, USD, or EUR), then click “Continue.” You cannot change the base currency of your wallet later.
STEP 3: Verify Your Identity
Enter your detailed profile information—including your address, ZIP code, employment status, and source of funds—and submit your documents by selecting “Verify Your Account” from the menu. Consent to the processing of your personal data, including biometric information, select an ID document, take a photo of it with your camera, and then take a selfie. If your computer does not have a camera, select “Continue with Smartphone” to proceed using your smartphone via an SMS link or QR code.
If you cannot use the camera, upload your documents (PDF, JPG, or PNG) by clicking “Please submit documents.” When uploading documents, you will not be asked to take a selfie, but you may be asked to take a selfie holding your ID. If you attempt to start the identity verification process on both a PC and a smartphone at the same time, one of them will display an error.
STEP 4: Open a Trading Account
In the myHF area, go to “Menu” → “Trading Accounts” → “Open a Live Account,” then click “Select” next to the account type you want to open. Set your platform (MT4/MT5), account currency, leverage, and password to open the account. When opening a trading account for the first time, you’ll need to verify your phone number.

Making a Deposit and Starting to Trade After Opening an HFM Account
Once your account is set up, make a deposit via the “Deposit” section in the myHF area, then log in to MT4/MT5 using the login ID, password, and server name provided in your account opening email to start trading. Additional HFM Accounts (For Existing Account Holders)
To open a second or subsequent trading account, do so from the myHF area of the same account. You do not need to re-register or re-verify your identity.
Steps to Open an Additional HFM Account
To open an account, select an account type from the "Open a Live Account" option on the myHF area home screen, or go to "Menu" → "Trading Accounts" → "Open a Live Account." Select the Top-Up Bonus account from the "Bonus Accounts" tab, and the KATANA account from the dedicated account tab.

When you reach the limit, you can open a new account by archiving an unused one. Archived accounts generally cannot be restored.
HFM Demo Account
You can open an HFM demo account through the myHF area or the HFM app. You can use it without identity verification—all you need to do is register your email address. You cannot open an HFM demo account by selecting “Open a Demo Account” within the MT4/MT5 app.

Steps to Open an HFM Demo Account
STEP 1: Log in to the myHF area, then go to "Menu" → "Trading Accounts" → "Open a Demo Account."
STEP 2: Click “Select” next to the demo account you want to open, enter the required information, and then click “Open Account.”
Since demo accounts and live accounts use different servers, be sure to select the server name for demo accounts when logging in to MT4/MT5.
Frequently Asked Questions About Opening an HFM Account
Are there any requirements for opening an HFM account?
You must be of legal age and not a resident of any country or region where the service is not available, such as the United States, Canada, Sudan, Syria, Iran, North Korea, the UAE, or Turkey. During registration, we will verify that you are at least 18 years old and that you agree to our Privacy Policy.
Are HFM identity verifications approved even on weekends?
If you take a photo on the spot with your camera, the review may be conducted even on weekends. Once the review is complete, you’ll receive an email notification. If you submit your application via upload, approval may not be granted until the start of the following week.
Where do I enter the HFM referral code (referrer ID)?
Enter it in the "Referrer ID or Campaign ID (Optional)" field on the account registration form. The HFM partner code is 364527. Since this field is optional, please check to make sure you've entered it before clicking "Continue."
What should I do if I get an error when uploading documents in HFM?
The main causes are usually one of the following: the file is too large, it’s in a format other than PDF, JPG, or PNG, the connection is unstable, or the image is blurry. Please reduce the file size to 10 MB or less and upload it again. If you’re still unable to upload the file, please contact backoffice@hfm.com宛てに添付して送れます.
Can I change the base currency of my HFM wallet later?
The base currency (JPY, USD, or EUR) for your HF Wallet, which you select when entering your profile information, cannot be changed later. You can choose the account currency for each trading account whenever you open a new account.
Does HFM offer an account opening bonus?
There are no bonuses available simply for opening an account. There are two types of deposit bonuses: the Bonus Hunter account, which allows you to start trading without making a deposit (though a deposit is required to withdraw profits), and the Top-Up Bonus account.
